I have mentioned the DataContext class several times thus far, but I have yet to provide a good explanation. The DataContext class is the core channel that you use to work with (for example, to query or update) your database. For each LTS DBML file you add to your solution, a new DataContext will be created. The DataContext class is a generated partial class that exists in your AdventureWorks. designer.cs file. In this example, your partial class is called AdventureWorksDataContext, which is based on the name that you gave the DBML file. As you can see in Listing 3-3, the DataContext class contains the properties and methods for interacting with the table(s) that have been added to the designer. In addition to the properties and methods in the AdventureWorksDataContext class, you can also see in Listing 3-3 that the System.Data.Linq.DataContext is used as the base class. The Ogre Compositor framework is a set of APIs and scripting commands that support multipass rendering at the render-target level, in order to assist you with creating visual effects such as motion blur, heat haze, infrared vision, or any per-fragment effect or postprocessing task you can imagine. At its core, the Compositor framework can be seen as a method of flexibly managing one or more passes through the graphics-rendering pipeline (whether programmable or fixed-function). These passes are performed on full-screen renders of your scene.
